28th Aug. was Vilayat Khansahab's 82nd birthday...

went to the Gobra Cemetery, where Vilayat Khansahab rests in peace, to pray for his soul...

31st July, 1980: The great playback singer of the Indian subcontinent Mohammad Rafi passed away...
Today 30 years after his death, music lovers still remember him.
Rafisahab accompanied Hafiz Khan Mastana, my Ustadji's uncle, in several duets.
On Rafisahab's death anniversary I feel like sharing two of those.
One a Qawwali and the other a patriotic song.
